Description
Cavin crawled up against the wall, covering his head beneath his arms as another sonic bomb went of nearby. Dust and pieces of cement rained down from the roof. The entire building, or what was left of it, shook violently, but continued to endure the punishment. The quaking subsided and Cavin dared to glance outside of the building again, to note that the entire city block was being torn apart. The Chor’Gal didn’t even care they had troops in this sector as well.
Realizing he could not stay here for much longer, Cavin opened his com pad on his arm and tried to make contact with central command.
“This is Private 21809! Come in, HQ!”
Much to his relieve, a distorded voice replied. “This is HQ. Report, private 21809.”
“The entire city is being bombarded! Almost everyone is dead! I’m requesting immediate evac!” he shouted over the roaring of flames and the explosions of bombs.
A moment of silence passed before the voice replied. “Do you have a visual of enemy forces?”
Cavin stared at his ComPad in bewilderment, as if he was directly facing the other person. “Did you hear anything I just said?! We’re being slaughtered out here! I’m requesting an immediate evac!”
“That’s a negative, private. That sector is of vital importance. You are to delay the enemy for a slong as possible.”
"What enemy?! We are being bombarded to the stone-age! Send dropships, now!"
"That's a negative, private. Hold your ground at all costs!"
“Are you insane?! get us out of here! We need to evacuate! Do you read me!” but only static replied. He swallowed heavily, which send a painful feeling through his coarse throat. “Shit!” he yelled out, having no other words to express him self. Another sonic bomb went of and tore down the building next to the one he was hiding in, but he continued to stare blankly with his one eye at the dead ComPad. “Shit…” he repeated in a hushed tone.

Drawn and colored today. I'm getting rusty. Nothing particularly new about this piece. Just for funs and giggles. I like this character. I'm bound to use him in one RPG or the other.
